CustomPak is committed to building a true circular economy for thermoformed plastic packaging- one where plastic remains a valuable resource and is continually recovered, recycled and reintroduced into the manufacturing cycle rather than becoming waste.
While this is an ongoing journey, it is one that drives every aspect of our business. Our commitment extends beyond ambition; it is backed by our participation in the Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s New Plastics Economy Global Commitment and our continual investment in reducing plastic waste through innovation, responsible manufacturing and closed-loop solutions.
As plastic packaging has entered a new era where recycling, litter and carbon emissions matter more than ever before, we’ve embraced the opportunity to become more responsible environmental stewards through our role as a plastic packaging supplier.
Wherever possible, our products are voluntarily made from up to 100% recycled PET (RPET) and designed to be fully recyclable. We encourage our customers to opt for clear packaging if possible, which reduces the need for virgin resin and ensures that the containers can be recycled here in New Zealand.
We are also proud members of Plastics New Zealand and actively support the industry’s initiatives around reducing carbon footprint and increasing recycling towards our circular economy mission.
